UNIDO’s Learning and Knowledge Development Facility unveils new logo and visual identity
UNIDO’s Learning and Knowledge Development Facility (LKDF), in celebration of its 10th Anniversary, unveiled a new logo and brand identity, reflecting the platform’s commitment to improving industrial skills development among the youth in emerging economies. The LKDF’s new look emphasizes the platform’s mission to economically and socially ascend the global workforce, and ultimately contribute to systemic change.
Since 2012 the LKDF has been striving to anticipate market demands through industrial skills development in order to strengthen local vocational training centers and address the skills-gap. To do so, the facility fosters global partnerships among stakeholders from the private, public, and development sector.
“The Learning and Knowledge Development Facility is an important UNIDO platform. It brings together partners who share the same goal: driving systemic change through skills development. I congratulate the LKDF on its 10th Anniversary. Together we celebrate a decade of contributions to the lives of young people in developing countries and emerging economies. The LKDF is a catalyst for investments in skills and vocational training”, said UNIDO Director General Gerd Müller.
Through a modern and youthful look, the new identity and logo aspire to better represent the work of the LKDF and its ultimate beneficiaries - young people.
