UNIDO-Supported Training Centre Attains Status as West Africa’s First Approved Training Partner

The UNIDO-supported Training Centre of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) has been awarded the status of Approved Training Partner (ATP). The certificate was jointly approved by the Chartered Quality Institute and International Register of Certified Auditors (CQI IRCA-UK).

Following international assessments, the SON Training Centre became not only the first Approved Training Partner in Nigeria, but in the whole ECOWAS region. Successful assessment was also carried out in three other institutions, the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) and the National Productivity Centre, Abuja (NPC), which also expect to receive the same ATP status.
