UNIDO and Switzerland launch Global Quality and Standards Programme project in Peru

LIMA, 26 November 2018 – Peru’s Ministry of Production (Produce), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Switzerland through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) today signed a €2,22 million project to increase Peru’s coffee and cacao export competitiveness.

The project is based on the Global Quality and Standards Programme’s (GQSP) innovative approach developed by UNIDO and SECO to strengthen the quality and standards compliance capacity in selected value chains of partner countries to facilitate market access for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
