A ROADMAP TO QUALITY - UNIDO LAUNCHES ONLINE TRAINING ON QUALITY MANAGEMENT

In the spirit of World Quality Day, celebrated on 12 November and part of World Quality Month, UNIDO is pleased to announce its Quality Management training programme, titles ‘A Roadmap to Quality’, is now available on the UNIDO Knowledge Hub. This state-of-the-art e-learning training promotes an understanding of Quality Management and facilitates its implementation throughout a company, particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Demand-driven quality culture and infrastructure—including requisite conformity assessment services—support small and medium-sized enterprises to achieve and demonstrate conformity with market requirements, compete on national and international markets, and comply with relevant national and international standards and technical regulations. However, economic, social, environmental and technological considerations require a holistic Quality Management System with integrated approaches in strategies, processes, methods and standards that address good governance, health and safety, energy and environmental protection.

These aspects also provide the basis for small and medium-sized enterprises to incorporate the UN Sustainable Development Goals in organizational strategies and processes. Comprised of 9 modules, the Quality Management – A Roadmap to Quality training elaborates on such Quality Management aspects, providing clear theoretical and practical guidelines for the full range of Quality Management activities.
