Go: Global Biopharma Business Forum for High-Tech Companies

As part of the project “Fostering Slovenian – Cuban innovation cluster for biopharma, medical and nanotechnologies sectors”, UNIDO is partnering with the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Moldova and the Slovene Enterprise Fund to organize a Biopharma Business Forum for High-Tech Companies. The event will take place at 15:00 -18:15 (CET) on 25 November 2020 virtually.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) represents the growing convergence of the digital and manufacturing sectors and is happening at an unprecedented pace, challenging existing institutions, markets, regulatory models and production practices. The medical, nanotechnology and biopharma industries are no exceptions. The Forum will focus on the future of these sectors and their potential for interregional development cooperation amidst the ongoing pandemic. Besides exploring the market needs of this critical sector, the event will aim to connect innovative development-oriented companies from Slovenia with potential international development partners from non - EU countries in the field of biopharma, medical and nanotechnologies sectors. 

The event will be hosted by high-level officials from Cuba and Slovenia, national and international experts on biopharma, medical and nanotechnology sectors and representatives from UNIDO and the European Commission.
