For the control of medicines, the National Public Health Laboratory has not received any proficiency testing samples since 2015. In regards to food and environmental control, the national public health laboratory regularly participates in inter-laboratory comparison tests organized by BIPEA (pesticide residues, water physico-chemistry and microbiology, aflatoxins...).
