Webinars on the UNIDO guidelines for re-activation of the Colombian auto industry

This webinar series introduce the UNIDO guidelines developed for the Colombian automotive industry to ensure that companies, which will restart production, do so by applying all possible measures to prevent contagion and protect the health of workers and customers, and ultimately ensure business continuity. The measures presented in the guide and the corresponding webinar series are based on good organizational practices and recommendations issued by health and business-related authorities and organizations, that seek to support decision-making regarding the adjustments that have to be made during the industrial reactivation process. The guidelines touch upon topics such as hygiene and safety at workplace, quality assurance in times of reduced operations or working capital calculations for restarting production.

Webinars are held between 15 April 2020 and 30 June 2020 in Spanish.

The webinar to be organized on 28 April will focus on how to reactivate production, touching upon subjects such as developing an industrial re-initiation plan within the given context, determining the gaps between the needs to re-start activities and current capacities, keeping clients and suppliers informed about changes in orders and deliveries, evaluating alternative supply chain options, assessing short-term liquidity, evaluating financial and operational risks, and monitoring of new support and incentive schemes provided by the government and/or other entities.

Date and time of webinar: 09:00-11:00 (Colombia Time Zone - COT), Tuesday, 28 April 2020
