You are cordially invited to attend the upcoming webinar within the UNIDO special series of webinars  on “Ensuring Industrial Safety and Security in times of Covid-19 and beyond”:

Title: New Tools of Control and Supervision in Times of COVID-19 and beyond

Context:

Remote monitoring and control systems have proven to be an effective tool for companies to track their production in real-time and ensure performance indicators are met. They can also help prevent accidents and pre-warn in case of emergency and impending disaster. On the wake of the recent Beirut explosion, the discussion will also touch upon the need and benefits of applying remote monitoring/auditing/control systems in prevention of accidents.

Experts Minjeong Kwon from Samjong KMPG Korea, Anna Murashkina of PKCC-Software Systems, David Butler of Lloyd's Register and Dan Purtell from the The British Standards Institution will discuss the increasing application - in response to COVID-19 - of remote auditing, monitoring and control systems and the challenges to regulation and inspection regimes.

Ana Macintosh of the University of York will moderate the discussion.
