You are cordially invited to attend the upcoming webinar, within the ISO / UNIDO special series of webinars on “Countering the impacts of COVID-19 with international standards”:

Title:  MINIMIZING THE RISKS OF CORRUPTION IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES: TOWARDS PREVENTION POLICIES FOR PRIVATE AND PUBLIC ENTITIES

Speakers:

Mr. Peter O’Brien

International certified Lead Auditor for ISO 37001:2016 Anti Bribery Management Systems

Ms. Nadia Gallo

International certified Lead Auditor for ISO 37001:2016 Anti Bribery Management Systems

Context:

Corruption may involve the use of illegal financial and non-financial methods to obtain advantages, which can be accrued in financial and/or non-financial ways. The overall objective of the webinar will be to show that Public Institutions and Private Firms in Developing Countries can, through their own risk management actions, protect themselves against financial, competitive and reputational damage arising from corrupt practices that may be followed by others in their business environment (domestic and foreign). This protection is achievable at low financial cost and may result in significant direct and indirect gains. The discussion will focus on matters more or less within the close environment of public and private institutions in developing countries.

Date & Time: Thursday 9 July 14:00 - 15:00 CET
