Trade Facilitation - LUXEMBOURG
The Business Partnership Facility (BPF) is a new financing facility created in 2016 by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs to encourage the Luxembourg and European private sector to collaborate with partners in developing countries to set up sustainable business projects. The objective of the BPF is to contribute to sustainable development and inclusive growth in developing countries and to create innovative and mutually beneficial partnerships between Luxembourg and European companies and actors from the South. The facility has an annual budget of € 1 million and co-financing in the form of a grant can reach up to 50% without exceeding the € 200 000 threshold. The eligible sectors are: (i) Information and Communication Technologies (ICT); (ii) Biohealth, (iii) Fintech and (iv) Eco-innovation.
