The Ibero-American Programme for Science, Technology and Development (CYTED)

The Ibero-American Programme for Science, Technology and Development (CYTED) was created in 1984 through an International Framework Agreement signed by 19 Latin American countries, Spain and Portugal.The CYTED Programme is a common instrument of national Science and Technology Systems in the Latin America region, creating a platform for the promotion and support of multilateral cooperation aimed at the transfer of knowledge, experience, information, solutions, and technology.

CYTED promotes Research and Innovation as essential tools for Social and Technological Development, as well as for productive modernization and greater competitiveness for economic development.
