The Programme for International Development Cooperation

Law for International Development Cooperation LCID (April 2011). The Art. 24 establishes fundamental guidelines for geographical and thematic priorities for Mexico's development cooperation. One of the main goals is the strengthening of the national capabilities both in Mexico and abroad.

The Programme for International Development Cooperation (PROCID in Spanish) (April 2014) for 2014-2018 underscores this goal. The objective 2 of the IDC Programme encourages broadening and promoting south-south cooperation and triangular cooperation to strategic countries. It clearly includes as a goal of this cooperation the development of capacities that could lead to trade, investment, and tourism opportunities.
