Gender mainstreaming, employment and youth - Netherlands

Gender is an integral part of policies aimed at sustainable and inclusive economic development. Gender is taken into account in all programs and activities, also by our implementing partners and stakeholders in the field.

The Netherlands has started Local Employment in Africa for Development (LEAD). LEAD aims to offer perspectives to African youth by stimulating the private sector to create jobs.
